Medical Equipment Loan

Our most requested items are crutches and walkers. Besides those items we have toilet and bath equipment. Wheelchairs are available with a $25 refundable deposit.

Loans of equipment are temporary and restricted to Bainbridge Island residents.

How the loan program works

The desk volunteer is available to respond to requests for medical equipment Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Helpline office. Each person requesting a loan fills out a card, noting the date of the loan.

While there is no time limit on the loan of items, we do request that items are returned when they are no longer needed.
